Halifax

Halifax is located latitude 44° 39' 0" N and longitude 63° 36' 0" W. It has a population of 360 000 and a population density of 1506.2 per km2 (urban) and 65.4 per km2 (municipality). The landforms in Halifax are the Halifax peninsula and the Halifax harbour which is the largest harbours in the world. The climate in Halifax is somewhat unusual. They have cold winters and short, warm summers, this is because it is located on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. There are snow depths greater than 1 cm is seen about 85 days each year. Halifax is in the ecozone of the Atlantic Maritime. The closest national park is the Halifax Bay Wetlands National Park. Some industries that are in Halifax are manufacturing, mining, fishing, tourism, agriculture, and  government/ military services. Finally some popular tourism places are the Nova Scotia Sports Hall of Fame, the Citadel National Historic Site Of Canada, the Pier 21 National Historic Site, and the World Peace Pavilion.
